Coordinated Shooting Method
What is CSM?
Coordinated Shooting Method, LLC (CSM) is a diverse, education-focused sporting clays and wing shooting enterprise that offers an array of services to individuals, groups and businesses involved in shotgun sports.
Our programs, tailored for shooters of all skill levels and ages, provide a flexible alternative to the traditional, inflexible teaching methods and deficit-based learning programs prevalent in shotgun shooting education. CSM's core strength lies in empowering each student to discover, define, and develop their unique shooting style, which fosters personal growth in knowledge and skills. Our aim is to enhance the skills and confidence of shooters and coaches in a nurturing and enjoyable setting. We provide both private and group coaching across various sporting clays disciplines, including wing shooting, FITASC, skeet, trap, and five-stand.
In addition to offering shooting instruction, we also provide certification courses for instructors, custom gun fitting and repair services, sporting clays course design, custom target setting, and assistance with shotgun procurement.
John C. Higgins founded CSM in March 2015, bringing with him over 55 years of shooting instruction experience and more than 35 years in sporting clays course design. As the principal owner, instructor, and course designer of CSM, John continues to contribute his extensive expertise to the field.
Our instruction primarily takes place in Camden, South Carolina, at the late Joe Canty's family-owned heritage property of Hermitage Sporting Grounds and at South Carolina Waterfowl Association sporting clays course on Old River Road in Pinewood, South Carolina. Additionally, private shooting lessons may be organized at a club you prefer.
